From Assembly of God Mission to New Time Church: A Journey of Faith and Renewal
In 2000, the city of Pompano Beach, Florida, witnessed the birth of a beacon of faith and hope: the Assembly of God Mission Church.
Envisioned and founded by Pastor Paulo Lucas Sacramento (in memoriam), the church was dedicated from its inception to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ and providing a spiritual home for those in need.
Pastor Paulo, a central figure in the church's history, was a man driven by unshakable faith and a deep love for people. Guided by a divine calling, he devoted his life to sharing the message of the gospel with the most vulnerable, sowing God’s word in fertile ground and positively impacting countless lives.
The Assembly of God Mission Church quickly became a refuge for those seeking comfort, guidance, and a genuine relationship with God. Its warm and welcoming community, built on the teachings of Christ, attracted worshippers from diverse backgrounds and walks of life.
Although the church’s journey was marked by the passing of Pastor Paulo, his legacy of faith and devotion continues to inspire and strengthen the community.
Under the dedicated leadership of its current leaders, the church has embraced a new chapter, becoming the New Time Church. This new name reflects a renewed vision to expand its impact, continue spreading the gospel, and welcome people from all cultures and nations.
The New Time Church honors its roots as Assembly of God Mission Church and remains steadfast in its mission to promote faith, charity, and spiritual connection, standing as a beacon of hope and renewal in the heart of Pompano Beach.
